Due to the catastrophic affects of Hurricane Katrina and the tremendous impact it has leveled on hotel owners and AAHOA members in the strike area, Jansen International, LLC is extending free insurance policy analysis and property claim consultation to affected AAHOA members. Affected AAHOA members may have lost some or all of their entire hotels due to the storm. Business will be affected for many months if not years following the storm.

The effectiveness of your recovery will be based on how you utilize first party insurance claim coverages and conditions in the management of your business plan. In many instances, your physical property has now reverted to the complicated insurance contract written by insurance companies. While coverage may exist for buildings, business personal property and loss of income, there are many limitations and conditions within the policy that can minimize your financial recovery and increase your out-of-pocket recovery costs. The policy is clear in the statement that it is YOUR responsibility to submit a detailed demand for payment to them and allow them to audit what is presented.
